Jason Haam is pleased to announce Moka Lee’s participation in ‘Artificial Tears’ at Museum Head in Seoul. The exhibition continues until April 13th, 2024. More infomation is available at Museum’s website.
“The exhibition questions whether contemporary images that have grown accustomed to intensity and volatility have forgotten the power of pensiveness of image. And recollect, again, the long-standing aspect of art that keeps the traces of the time passed and of others. ’Artificial Tears’ shows images that confirm irrevocable separations, reflect others in today's survival, and refuse the homogenization of sorrow.”

”전시는 격렬함과 휘발성에 익숙해진 동시대 이미지가 사유의 힘을 망각한 것은 아닌지 질문한다. 그리고 다시, 지나간 시간과 타자의 흔적을 간직하는 미술의 오랜 태도를 떠올려본다. ‘인공 눈물’은, 돌이킬 수 없는 이별을 확인하고, 살아남음의 오늘을 타자에 비추며, 슬픔의 사태가 동질화되는 것을 거부하는 이미지를 지금 이곳에 재생한다.”
